なにか創作的なものを書くときには、やはり縦組みのが馴染みがある。
いつもLibreOffice Writerで縦組みで書いている。下のように2段組みにして、この1ページで400字詰め原稿用紙4枚が入るようにしてある。
書き終わった量がわかるので便利。
WindowsではWordを使うのが普通なのだろうが、LibreOffice WriterはWindowsにもインストールできて無料。

Vertical Writing

When writing something creative, I feel more comfortable with vertical composition.
I always use LibreOffice Writer to write in vertical format. I set it up with two columns like the following, so that I can fit four sheets of manuscript paper with 400 characters each on this single page.
It's convenient because I can easily see how much I've written.
While Word is commonly used on Windows, LibreOffice Writer can be installed for free on Windows as well.
