「木柄くじり」はこれが優秀でたしか通販で買ったもの。紙束に穴を開けるときには、適当な木材があるとやりやすい。

Making a twisted handle and memo pad
Lately, I've been making memo pads and using them to help me memorize English sentences.
I still have a lot of twisted paper cords that I bought from a stationery store that no longer exists, 40 years ago, which I use to bind the paper together.
The "twisted handle" I use is an excellent tool that I bought online. It's easier to make holes in the paper stack when I have a suitable piece of wood to use.
For some reason, I have extra A4 paper, so I bind them together using about 20 twisted paper cords each, in the middle of the pad.

Windows11にアップグレードした

Windows10からWindows11にアップグレードした。
CPUが古いので、事前に引っかかるので、Microsoft非推奨のやり方でやった。
Windowsを入れて使っているパソコンは長い期間使っているが、あと5年ぐらいはこのままで大丈夫ではないかという気がしてくる。
Linuxでは使えないInDesignなどではWindowsマシンは1台は必要になる。

I upgraded to Windows 11

I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Since my CPU is old, I did it in a way that Microsoft doesn't recommend to avoid any issues beforehand.
I have been using this computer with Windows for a long time, and I feel like it will be okay to keep using it like this for another five years or so.
A Windows machine is necessary for programs such as InDesign that cannot be used with Linux.

アオサギとカワウ

今日は多少暇だったので、寒いだろうと思ったが多摩川川原に歩きに行った。
思っていたより寒くない。いつもとは違う方向に歩いたが、川原を公園ふうに造成する計画が進んでいるようで、工事の幕が張ってあるところがあった。
珍しくアオサギがいたので、撮ってみた。もう1羽はカワウだろうか？
異種の鳥が2羽並んでいるのがおもしろい。
